TICP BRONX CLINIC

Social Saturdays at TICP

Flexible Weekend Therapy for Your Child, Right Here in the Bronx

Not every child’s schedule fits into the weekday. That’s why we created Social Saturdays—a dedicated space for children to access high-quality therapy, build social skills, and connect with peers in a supportive, play-based environment.

Whether your child needs targeted support or you're looking to supplement existing services, we’re here to meet you where you are.

✨What We Offer

Individual Therapy Sessions (30 Minutes)
Personalized, one-on-one sessions designed around your child’s unique goals and needs.

Social Skills Groups (50 Minutes) $160/class: 6 or 12-week sessions available
Small group sessions that focus on communication, peer interaction, emotional regulation, and play skills in a structured, supportive setting.

Our Social Skills Groups are built using the Socially Savvy curriculum, delivered through TICP’s core philosophy that children learn best when they are happy, relaxed, and engaged.

We prioritize creating an environment where children feel safe, regulated, and excited to participate. From there, we are able to meaningfully build and expand social skills through intentional, therapist-led instruction.

Each session targets:

  • Conversation Skills
Starting, maintaining, and ending interactions appropriately

  • Understanding Social Cues
Reading body language, tone of voice, and facial expressions

  • Peer Engagement & Play
Turn-taking, sharing, cooperative play, and joining group activities

  • Emotional Awareness & Regulation
Recognizing feelings in self and others and responding appropriately

  • Problem Solving & Flexibility
Managing frustration, handling changes, and navigating social challenges

Sessions are structured yet playful, combining direct teaching, modeling, role play, and real-time peer interaction. By ensuring children are happy, relaxed, and engaged, we support not just skill acquisition, but true connection, confidence, and independence.
